Missing pages, slow searches and failed saves that always give you a way back

We plan to make every dead end on the site useful. A mistyped or outdated address will show a page in your language with the side rail and search, a link into the section you were heading for, and the closest entry when the name nearly matches.

Search results, preview cards and the map will keep their layout steady while they load. When a sign-in or save fails, you will see a short message with a retry or return button, your draft stays where it was, and nothing claims to have saved when it did not.

Back and Forward from these pages return you to where you were. The site icon request already leads to the pink M mark instead of a missing page.
